The Phased Array Company (TPAC) and AOS (Advanced OEM Systems) are sister companies, part of the same holding group, (EEI LLC) Both companies offer solutions for Non-Destructive Testing using ultrasound and advanced phased-array ultrasound systems. Headquarters are situated north of Cincinnati, Ohio. While both companies work with identical components, TPAC focuses its offer on packaged industry “off-the shelf” solutions, whereas AOS designs ad-hoc solutions for system integrators where NDT represents a “brick” within a complete integrated manufacturing control solution. All solutions developed by TPAC and AOS include company software development. In addition to the U.S. site, there is a production site on the west coast of France in the region of Nantes.

Both brands are growing rapidly, with total headcount approximately 40 people.. In 2019, growth of the group was approximately 30%. As the target segments are centered around essential businesses, these are highly marketable products and services even in the most difficult of business environments. Until now, most of the focus has been on product development, positioning the company for strong growth potential in the next 3 to 5 years.

Targeted segments for both brands include research labs in academia and quality control and testing in industries such as:

  • Aerospace

  • Oil & Gas

  • Manufacturing

  • Rail

  • Power Generation

  • Nuclear

  • Automotive



  • West Coast city preferable, or the ability to cover the western region of the US.

  • Travel will typically be at approximately 70% to go to trade shows, visit customers and

    partner with teammates. Obviously in the current environment, such activities will be executed in a virtual manner for the safety of the individual and others.


  • Formulate strategies to approach and develop targets and market segments while developing action plans based upon those strategies.

  • Develop key relationships to drive sales of TPAC/AOC products and solutions.

  • Promote new technologies, products and solutions developed by AOS / TPAC .

  • Find and qualify leads; negotiate and close deals with customers.

  • Identify new sectors/applications for products and solutions available.

  • Build, strengthen and stabilize long term relationships with existing and new customers.

  • Develop a strong recurring revenue basis.

  • Build and manage networks to sustain and accelerate development.

  • Propose and implement new business opportunities (services, rental, etc.)

  • Build strong internal relationship with team members and key stakeholders to optimize potential and facilitate productive relationships and culture.


  • Engineering degree or equivalent background required

  • Non Destructive Testing environment knowledge, preferably in Phased Array Ultrasonic


  • Fluent in English. A second European language would be a plus.

  • Business development experience.

  • Program or project management understanding.

  • Sales forecasting & contract negotiation competencies.

  • Customer focus and a solutions-oriented mind.

  • Strong self-starter and able to work autonomously with a soft-structured team.

  • Self-motivated with discipline to work on the road or from their home office.
